Over the course of my training and career as a dancer, I have sustained a focus on Contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation. While working with Tanztheater Adrian Look in London I was able to develop my practice of working in a professional environment as well as developing the use of emotion to drive movement. I also have experience in Classical Ballet and Tap, and have completed examinations under the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) for twenty years.

Sight specific work and the smaller details and intricate features of movement in everyday life and a professional dance environment, which can sometimes go by unnoticed, have come to the forefront of my research and practice. However, when working as a dancer in collaboration with choreographers, I have also enjoyed experimenting with how other dance styles, such as Capoeira, can be fused with Contemporary movements. By bringing my experience and skills as a company dancer, performing arts student, and spoken voice work, I can offer valuable contributions to the choreographic process. Recently I have taken a break from dancing professionally and worked as a Translation Administration Coordinator at SDL PLC in Sheffield while continuing to dance in my spare time. I resigned from my job in December 2019 in order to pursue a career as a freelance professional dancer again.
